CULTIVATE...

In my quest to surrender all I looked up the word cultivate and it blessed my life. It strengthen me, and I felt honored to have a God that would take time out to cultivate me.

Cultivate- Prepare for corps 2: Forster the growth of 3: Refine

After reading this I worshipped God, but I had to go further. There was more for me to understanding. I knew that once I got my heart to understand, I'll be able to take real joy in the tailor made process that God has just for me.

Prepare- make or get ready often beforehand 2: put together or compound

How amazing does it feel to have a God that prepares us for what's to come. To know with our whole hearts walking into tomorrow that the Lord has prepared us for every circumstance.

Foster- to help grow or develop

No matter what situation we're in God has the ability to use that situation to help us grow and develop. He helps us through our situation, He matures us in our situation, for a destiny that He has prepared beforehand. What a mighty God we serve!

Refine- free from impurities or waste 2: improve or make perfect 3: free or become free of what is coarse or uncouth

When I read this I felt so special...words can't explain how much I need Him to refine me, cultivate me, foster me, and prepare me. God has a way of using life to get impurities out of our hearts. It's so amazing how He uses situations to chip away anger, rudeness, and useless things that can destroy our destiny. I've been tempted to complain about the situations that life has dealt me but then I remember God. I remember God and all His glory, His life changing power, and then I remember who He loves He chastises. I've learned being in this process doesn't always feel good, but I can rest assure after I go through the fire I'll come forth as gold.

Job 23:10 But He know the way that I take, When He has tested me, I will come forth as gold

LEAKY FAUCET...

So imagine this, coming home from a bad day or maybe even a frustrating day. The whole way home all you can think about is relaxing. You walk in the house and start to settle in. You get comfortable and then you notice there's a drip coming from the faucet. At first it seems like no big deal so you go to turn the faucet all the way off. You proceed to walk away and while your back is turned the faucet starts to leak again. Now a little irritated you start to search for the real problem. You're looking for things that are loose or slightly off. Finally after getting your tool box and checking what usually causes faucets to leak, it shuts off. Before you can get two feet away it starts to leak again. Thoughts emerge and you think "Maybe I need a new faucet"
Proverbs 27:15 A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day

Ladies lets strive to be the person that we want to come home to. We as people should pray for the gift of discernment. We need to be able to see in the spirit what needs to been done or said, to and for the people God has put in our lives. We have to know when to turn the pressure off. Lets make an effort to pour positivity into all our relationship and not nag the people we love. Women are not the only ones that can leak in a relationship. Sometimes we all need to check our pluming...I'm just saying

Proverbs 25:24 It is better to live in a corner of the housetop than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife

THE MOMENT...

That unselfish moment when you realize it's not about you and nor do you want it to be about you. That moment when you want to do what God has called you to do, when the running stops. With that moment comes the harsh realization that we're human. The true understanding that we will never be perfect, but we're willing to serve a perfect God. The surrendering white flag moment, when all pride is broken down and ours hearts are finally willing to submit to the call. We begin to pray for that selfless heart that restlessly goes after the purpose God puts in us. We've been bought with a price, and now it's time for us to acknowledge that we're not our own. There's an Almighty King giving us an incredible opportunity to love and serve Him unconditionally. With all our impurities, insecurities, and flaws He strives everyday to reassure us that we were fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:14 reads; "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works, and my soul knows very well."

Our Souls Knows Very Well...

THE NEW CREATURE...

If any man be in Jesus he becomes a new creature...There's an new anointing that comes with being this new creature. The old things are put away and now we have the strength and authority to follow our God given destiny. When we become new we handle things differently, we don't respond to adversity like the old person we once were. God in us gives us wisdom, He matures us in a way that causes us to think before we act. God gives us brand new eyes to see the world, and these eyes causes us to walk by faith and not by sight. Our new heart has been programed to hope against hope, to believe in miracles and wait for change. Even our appetite changes, we begin to hunger and thirsty for righteousness. Our new posture is upright, our new language is bold and confident. The more our new creature eats the word of God the more changes are made. God makes our actions inspiring and encouraging, from our bellies flows living water. He releases a gentle relentless spirit in us that stirs up faith in others. Now after we've embraced this new creature we soon realize that God is the only good thing in us. It's Him that lives in us causing these amazing changes....TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE NEW CREATURE!!!

BIRDS...

Okay, I read something today that put things in perspective for me...even though I thought I already knew this but it struck a cord in my spirit in a way that caused me to see how powerful God really is. Everyday the birds get up and do what they were made to do, and everyday God is with them as they go about giving God glory. How are they giving God glory you ask...by doing what they were created to do...wow rite. They were made to fly, they were made to sing, not bark or speak. Everyday they get up and do what they were created to do, and God takes care of them. He makes sure they eat, He leads them to find the things they need to build them shelter. Now with a brain that isn't like ours they have the wisdom to trust God. The birds of the air are out praising us...Yes the ones that are created to speak about God's goodness and mercy. Some of us when we rise in the morning worry meets us head on. What will we eat? What will we wear? How will we pay this or that? How will we make it? Unlike the birds of the air we lack confidence in God and His provision. Creation has no brain but it has wisdom, the wisdom to know when it's time to change, and creation trusts God to make those changes. All four seasons surrenders to God's process. They don't argue about having more time, or break down because their season is over. Each season accomplish what they were called to accomplish, and proves God's wisdom and power in the things He's created. It's seems that we're the only things created that questions God's supernatural process. Let's make an honest effort to trust God like the birds, have wisdom like creation, and be open to change like the seasons.

FREEDOM...

Freedom...It sound so good, even to feel the word roll off your tongue it gives you a sense of limitless movement. Carefree, free from thoughts and opinions...free to be who and what God called you to be. What a way to live...no shackles...no reminder of past disappointments...no reminder of past hurt...just sweet freedom. There is liberty in the presence of God...real freedom is found in His presence. No Judgement just sweet freedom...for this reason I must stay before Him...I have a great desire to to be free and an even greater desire to stay free.

WORSHIP....

He shows up in unexpected places and He blows my mind. He rocks my soul with His love for me. His faithfulness keeps me in worship. His creativity keeps me inspired. I never knew of a safe place until I entered into His presence. My heart opened as I laid before Him with great conviction and the purest love that I could give, and it still wasn't enough. He deserves so much more, He's so sweet, and so good to me, so my soul cries out in desperation to give Him more. He took what I had magnified it, even though I knew my best wasn't good enough and it would never be pure enough, He made me feel as if it was just what He was looking for. He my sweet and loving God took and cherished my worship, He without question inhabited my praise. Him my God strong and mighty stood in the midst of all that I could give and absorbed my praise and worship. Not perfect but He honored it...so I continued to pour out my heart slow and steady, I adored Him, I praised Him for who He is, for what He's done and what He will do. He's perfect, patient, kind, gentle, and understanding. It comes a time in a our lives when nothing else matter but seeing God, hearing God, pleasing God...I've arrived at this appointed time where God's presence is needed like the air that I breathe. (((SINGING))) out of all the things I am and everything I hope to be....if you look into my heart there's a worshipper in me....
