I ALMOST FORGOT....

When you're working at a pace that makes you think that you don't have time to look back to see what you've accomplished. You know...when you're constantly in a forward motion but you're never really conscious of whose being affected by your sprint or dash to the finish line. It's that place when you finally stop to look around and you've run so far that you've forgot what the race was about. It's so crazy how sometimes our ambition can give us false Independence. Don't get me wrong most times God does call us out from the crowd, but the call should be answered humbly, not with arrogance of our wisdom and knowledge to lead. When we're called to lead we're really called to push God's people. We're called to direct the people that look to us to their full potential, not by judging, or by dictating, but with guidance. Sometimes we can get so caught up in the call and in being successful in the calling that we forget the reason why we were called. We weren't called to be successful, we were called to give God glory. We were called because He trusts us to guide His people with our everyday lives, gifts, and talents. We were called to draw them closer to Him. We weren't called to make people envious of the call but to make them curious of their own call. There is no race to success in the spirit, it's only whose being affected by our success. I said all that to say I ALMOST FORGOT why I do what I know I'm called to do. I encourage you to never forget...
